Frighteninggaze stopped and opened his mouth to sniff the air. He immeadeatilly smelled a mouse. He dropped into a low crouch and snuck up on the mouse. Once he was a fox length away, Frighteninggaze pounced on the mouse, killing it with a swfit bite to the neck. "Now you try," he meowed to Littleleaf, burying his prey in the dirt, "Find a mouse and kill it."

Littleleaf opened her mouth to taste the air and scented a mouse, not to far from her. Immediately, she fell into the hunter's crouch and silently sneaked up on the mouse, then pounced and killed the mouse with one swift bite to the neck. "Like that?" she asked, her eyes glittering.

Littleleaf blinked. "Is there a difference between the two?" she asked. "To hunt them, I mean."

"Yes. Mice fell you, rabbits hear you. When stalking a rabbit, you must do it very quietly." Frighteninggaze meowed as he trotted through the forest, looking for any prey.

Nodding, Littleleaf mewed softly "You're just like a forest cat, except you learned this all by yourself. You're very smart."

Littleleaf shook her head. "But you taught me," she pointed out. "You taught yourself, and didn't have anyone there to show you how it was done."

Frighteninggaze purred when he realized that Littleleaf was right. "I smell a rabbit!" He whispered as he stopped and crouched down low. "Be prepared to catch the one that comes out after I get this one."

"There always is. Follow me." Frighteninggaze whispered back. Her slowly made his way towards a small bush. He avoided branches and dry leaves and continued for the bush. Once close enough, he ran into the bush and grabbed a rabbit by the neck. The other one fled towards Littleleaf, panicing.

Littleleaf immediately clawed the rabbit to stun it for a while, then bit it's neck. She sat up again, staring at the rabbit, impressed by Frighteninggaze's strategy.

Littleleaf nodded (again xD) and picked up the rabbit with her mouth. She followed Frighteninggaze back to camp.

Frighteninggaze put the fresh-kill down in the middle of the camp. He then walked towards the warriors den.
